This service is perfect for pets who get anxious or nervous in a clinic setting, as well as for owners who may have difficulty bringing their pets to our office.

House calls are particularly great for cats, as cats tend to get extremely stressed out during trips to the vet. If you have scheduled a house call for your cat, we ask that you please contain your cat(s) in a small room before the appointment begins.
Our in-home vet appointments are available for both wellness and sick visits, and they’re a great way to ensure your pet gets the care they need in the comfort of their own home. In order to be eligible for in-home vet appointments, you must be a current client of Pleasant Valley Animal Hospital and have had at least one in-clinic visit in the last year. Additionally, you must live within 15 miles of our clinic.

It’s important to note that in-home visits are not for emergencies and must be scheduled ahead of time. These services are offered only within Dutchess County
