What to Expect
Welcome to our practice! At Pleasant Valley Animal Hospital, we are dedicated to providing the best and most compassionate care for your pet. Our team of experienced professionals is passionate about what they do and is committed to making your pet's visit as stress-free as possible.
You’ll find that we don’t rush our exams to get to the next patient. Each pet gets the time they need even if it takes longer, whether it’s because they are shy or scared or just need more complicated diagnostics. Sometimes this means the next appointment is slightly delayed, and we believe you will appreciate this slow, thorough approach when it’s your pet’s turn.
As a Fear Free Certified animal hospital, we follow best practices to minimize your pet's fear, anxiety, and stress during their visit. During your appointment, our vets will discuss any health issues and treatment options, as well as answer any questions you may have.
- To schedule an appointment, visit our easy online scheduling tool, or call us at (845) 635-2110.
- As a new client, please bring your pet's medical history and plan to arrive 15 minutes early.
- Please fill out our Appointment History Form and New Client Form prior to your pet’s visit.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We kindly request at least 48 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations to allow us to offer your time slot to other patients in need. Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without rescheduling or canceling will be recorded as a no-show.
A non-refundable fee of $75.00 will be charged for late cancellations or no-shows, and a deposit will be required for all future appointments.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in helping us provide quality care to all our patients.
Urgent Care
We want you to know that we are here for you if something happens to your pet unexpectedly (such as an accident or other emergency). We ARE NOT an emergency clinic or a pet urgent care facility—Our focus is on maintaining your pet's wellness to prevent the need for these services.
