Regenerative Medicine

Regenerative Medicine

Regenerative stem cell therapy and Platelet-rich plasma therapy (PRP) are the latest treatments to be shown effective for helping the body to restore, repair, and regenerate damaged tissue in pets. In veterinary medicine, this therapy is primarily used to treat arthritic animals, and for those with tendon and ligament injuries.

Stem Cell Therapy: This advanced treatment utilizes stem cells derived from the fat of the patient getting the therapy. Fat is harvested and sent to a biopharma company. In 48 hours, we have the concentrated cells to help repair damaged tissue.

Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP): Less aggressive and expensive than stem cell therapy. PRP is performed as an outpatient procedure. The sample is collected the same day, processed and re-injected into the affected joint(s)
