The Pleasant Valley Animal Hospital was first opened in the 1930’s by Dr. George Dorney. He used the old barn on his estate to open and run the practice.
In 1968 the practice was bought by Dr. Peter Poggi. Dr. Poggi renovated the building in the 1970’s, bringing it into that era.
In 2000 the practice was once again sold, this time to Dr. Martha Gearhart where it has continued to serve the residents of the Hudson Valley.
This barn is now 200 years old and
it’s our turn to renovate the building!
Our renovations have begun and will continue into the New Year. Follow this process here or on our facebook page as we share our journey!
